What is the difference between Dunlop latex and Talalay Latex?Updated 2 years ago

The Dunlop manufacturing process is the oldest latex transformation process having been in use since 1929. The latex obtained is denser than Talalay latex and is slightly firmer.

The Talalay process is a more recent process. This makes the manufacturing more complex and more expensive on an energy consumption and environmental level. This makes it possible to obtain latex with a larger cellular structure which allows for greater softness.

Kipli favours the Dunlop process as it is less polluting and makes it possible to manufacture a mattress that provides optimal comfort capable of firm support which adapts seamlessly to the body shape of the sleeper.
